Flyers Add More to Defense

The Philadelphia Flyers were not finished stacking up their defense after trading for Andrej Meszaros and re-signing Braydon Coburn.  Roughly two hours after the free agency opened the Flyers added 38-year-old defenseman Sean O’Donnell to their roster.  He signed a one-year deal for $1 million.

O’Donnell was a part of the Stanley Cup run for the Anaheim Ducks with Chris Pronger in 2007.

O’Donnell has played with the Los Angeles Kings, Boston Bruins, Anaheim Ducks, New Jersey Devils, Minnesota Wild and Phoenix Coyotes.

The Flyers have now committed $23,492,262 to defensemen.
