I am a second generation Leafs fan, born and raised in Scarborough, a suburb of the centre of the hockey universe. That would be Toronto, if you weren’t aware. I’ve watched hockey for as long as I can remember and I like to think I can remember the ’72 series win. I have three brothers, one of which who played a decent amount of organized hockey, but it was my dad who I remember enjoying hockey with the most.

My favorite memories revolve around watching hockey with the family on Saturday nights, discussing hockey with my dad, playing road hockey and finally, going to hockey school at a time when girls playing hockey was an anomaly. Dad encouraged my fanaticism and my family now tolerates it, but it’s not ever going to die down.

While I follow the Leafs religiously, I am an avid fan of all levels of hockey. I’ve adopted my now home-town London Knights and always follow the major international men’s and women’s tournaments. I expect to keep everyone up on OHL, Canadian NHL and major international hockey events.
